Lot 99: A Chinese Porcelain Iron-Red Enamel 'Dragon' Covered Bowl, Xuande Mark
A white-glazed porcelain lidded box or covered bowl, decorated with iron-red enamel. The lid features a central design of two stylized dragons amidst clouds, encircled by a relief pattern of scrolling tendrils and scattered stylized floral motifs, which continue around the body of the vessel. The base bears an underglaze blue four-character reign mark, "大明宣德年製" (Dà Míng Xuāndé Nián Zhì), translating to "Made in the Xuande Reign of the Great Ming Dynasty."
