Buyer's Premium:

A circular, dish-like plaque, crafted from a silver-colored metal, featuring intricate high-relief decoration on both sides. The obverse presents a central medallion inscribed with "TAI-CHING TI-KUO SILVER COIN" (大清帝國, "Great Qing Empire") surrounding a dragon motif, flanked by two large, five-clawed dragons set against a finely stippled background. The reverse similarly displays two dragons encircling a central ‘coin’ impression, bearing Chinese characters including "光緒元寶" (Guangxu Yuanbao, "Guangxu Original Treasure, " referring to the Qing Dynasty Emperor Guangxu, 1875-1908) and "庫平七錢二分" (Kuping Qiqian Erfen, "Kuping Tael, 7 mace, 2 candareens, " a standard weight marking for one silver dollar).
