A Chinese white metal hexagonal lidded box. The lid is inset with a circular medallion depicting two dragons amidst clouds, bordered by the English inscriptions "KWANG-TUNG PROVINCE, " "7 MACE AND 2 CANDAREENS, " and "SILVER, " all framed by a repeating geometric key pattern. The sides of the box are intricately decorated with relief panels portraying traditional figures within various landscape scenes, including bamboo. The interior of the box holds another circular medallion or coin displaying Chinese characters: "光緒元寶" (Guāngxù Yuánbǎo – Guangxu Original Treasure), "廣東省造" (Guǎngdōng shěng zào – Made in Guangdong Province), and "庫平七錢二分" (Kùpíng qī qián èr fēn – Treasury standard 7 qian 2 fen).
