Lot 46: A Chinese Blue and White 'Shou' Longevity Character Cup, Yongzheng Mark

A Chinese blue and white porcelain cup, decorated with repeating stylized ‘壽’ (shou) longevity characters. The exterior features the characters positioned above a decorative band resembling lotus petals or ruyi heads. The base, with its unglazed footrim, bears a blue underglaze four-character reign mark ‘大清雍正年製’ (Dà Qīng Yōngzhèng Nián Zhì), translating to ‘Made in the Great Qing Yongzheng reign.’ The item presents with a glossy glaze.
