The mythical beast features a powerful head with prominent eyes and an open snout, with its removable head serving as the lid. Its body is segmented, resembling scales or armor, and it is adorned with a stylized flame-like tail. The surface exhibits a rich, dark patina with discernible traces of original gilding and reddish pigment, particularly on the raised decorative elements such as scrolling clouds and scales.
