Lot 35: A Chinese Carved Libation Cup, Qianlong Mark
A carved libation cup, or rhyton, crafted from a brownish-amber colored organic material. Executed in a traditional East Asian style, the vessel features a flaring rim with a subtle spout and rests on a circular foot. Its body is intricately carved in high relief with stylized dragons or mythical beasts amidst swirling forms, interspersed with vertical rectangular cartouches containing decorative archaic characters. A distinct four-character seal mark, "乾隆年製" (Qiánlóng Nián Zhì), meaning "Made in the Qianlong period, " is carved into the underside of the foot.

Condition report:
Good overall condition, consistent with age and use. Exhibits a rich, aged patina. Minor surface wear and dust accumulation within the deep carvings are present. No evident major damage or repairs observed.
