Lot 23: A Chinese Coral-Ground Lotus Scroll Bowl, Qianlong Mark
A finely potted porcelain bowl, known as a coral-ground lotus scroll bowl. The rounded body features a subtly flared gilded rim and a distinct footring. The exterior is densely decorated with a continuous pattern of scrolling vines and stylized lotus blossoms rendered in iron red enamel on a white ground. A vibrant yellow band encircles the foot. The interior and the recessed base are uniformly glazed in a striking turquoise enamel. The base bears a blue underglaze six-character seal mark reading ‘大清乾隆年製’ (Dà Qīng Qián Lóng Nián Zhì), translating to ‘Made in the Great Qing Qianlong reign’.

Condition report:
Good overall condition. Minor wear consistent with age and use. Fine crazing is present within the interior turquoise glaze.
