An Indo-Persian Islamic Brass Celestial Globe, supported by a matching tripod stand and encircled by an engraved armillary ring. The globe’s surface is intricately etched with numerous Arabic inscriptions denoting constellations and zodiac signs, including ‘رأس الغول’ (Ra’s al-Ghul / Algol), ‘جوزاء’ (Jawza’ / Orion), ‘الفرس’ (Al-Faras / Pegasus), ‘عقرب’ (Aqrab / Scorpio), and ‘حوت’ (Hut / Pisces), accompanied by detailed figurative depictions of these celestial bodies and a coordinate grid. The armillary ring also bears engraved Arabic numerals, likely indicating degrees.
