A 19th Century Indian Mughal rock crystal dagger hilt. Crafted from a clear, colorless material, the hilt features a central smooth ovoid body flanked by deeply carved foliate scrollwork and acanthus motifs, evoking a Baroque or Rococo aesthetic. An ornate, scrolling C-shaped element, also intricately carved, connects the upper and lower sections, with the apex displaying a multi-perforated, crown-like embellishment. No visible text or markings are apparent.
