Lot 15: A Chinese Famille-Rose Lotus Bowl, Yongzheng Yuzhi Mark

A Chinese Famille-Rose Lotus Bowl, circular in form with a gently flared rim and a footring, meticulously decorated with polychrome enamels. The exterior features an intricate pattern of overlapping pink and magenta lotus petals, each segment finely detailed with delicate gold scrollwork against a pale background, above a lime green band adorned with yellow dots around the foot. The interior displays a vibrant composition of lotus flowers, buds, and leaves in various shades of green, pink, and red, on a pristine white ground. The base bears a blue underglaze four-character mark, 雍正御製 (Yongzheng Yuzhi), which translates to ‘Made by Imperial Command of Yongzheng.’
