Lot 143: A Chinese Polychrome Enamel 'Dragon and Bat' Porcelain Dish, Yongzheng Mark
A circular porcelain dish with a scalloped rim, decorated in polychrome enamels on a white ground. The obverse features a central black and orange-red five-clawed dragon with green accents, surrounded by multi-colored cloud scrolls. Three additional green five-clawed dragons are depicted amidst similar clouds on the outer rim. The reverse displays five stylized red bats on the white exterior wall. The recessed base is glazed in crackled turquoise and bears a four-character underglaze blue mark, "大清雍正年製" (Dà Qīng Yōngzhèng nián zhì), translating to "Made in the Yongzheng reign of the Great Qing."
