Lot 131: A Indo-Persian White Metal Ewer, 19th/20th Century
This elaborately decorated ewer features a bulbous body, a slender S-shaped spout with a ribbed texture, and a curved handle terminating in a stylized animal head where it joins the neck. Its surface is extensively adorned with intricate repoussé and chased decoration, including floral and foliate scrollwork prominently displayed within teardrop-shaped cartouches on the main body. Geometric banding is present on the neck, lid, and footed base. The domed lid is topped with a decorative finial, also featuring floral motifs.

Good overall structural condition. The item exhibits significant tarnish and oxidation consistent with age, along with surface wear and heavy patination typical of an antique piece.
