Lot 127: An Indian Bronze Ewer (Aftaba), Mughal, 18th-20th Century
An Indian bronze ewer (aftaba), Mughal, dating to the 18th-20th Century. The vessel features a fluted, bulbous body, a slender neck supporting a domed lid with a small finial, and a twisted spout capped with a bird finial, mirrored by another small bird integrated into the S-curved handle. A patterned band decorates the collar of the neck.

Condition report:
Significant wear, chipping, and abrasion to the original red and gilt finish, exposing the darker underlying metal. Consistent with considerable age and use. No major structural damage observed.
