A Chinese blue and white porcelain bowl, bearing an underglaze blue six-character Xuande reign mark (大明宣德年製). The exterior is decorated with stylized carp swimming amidst various aquatic plants, including lotus blossoms and pads, framed by wave and scroll bands at the rim and foot. The interior center features a cluster of lotus plants emerging from waves, complemented by a continuous wave pattern along the inner rim. The underglaze blue displays varying tones characteristic of the "heaped and piled" effect.
