Lot 103: A Chinese Tibetan White Metal Cloisonné and Gem-Inlaid Teapot, Guangxu Mark
A Chinese Tibetan silver cloisonné and gem-inlaid teapot. The globular body is richly decorated with raised settings containing numerous cabochon-cut red stones, interspersed with vibrant blue and green enamel depicting foliate patterns. The lid is capped with a prominent, domed green cabochon stone, surrounded by scalloped metalwork and a twisted rope-like border. The handle is enameled in shades of blue and yellow with scroll-like motifs. The base features a concentric meander pattern surrounding a square seal mark inscribed with the characters "光緒年製" (Guangxu Nian Zhi), translating to "Made in the Guangxu reign."
